Before you start, you must have an Account Number and Customer ID. This information will show on your monthly Village Services Bill mailed to your address. The Glen Ellyn Village Board held a meeting on Monday, February 25th, 2019 at 7:00PM on the 3rd floor of the Glen Ellyn Civic Center to discuss annexation of Maple Hollow and other surrounding properties. Owners and renters were encouraged to join to hear changes concerning the property. The annexation of Maple Hollow and adjoining properties was set as Agenda I for the meeting. The Maple Hollow board and few community members spoke at the meeting and requested clarification from the Glen Ellyn Trustees and Staff.

Garbage Service

The Village of Glen Ellyn will take over garbage service beginning Monday, March 25th, 2019. All the new garbage and recycling containers have now been delivered, so please put them outside on Sunday night and back into your garage after pickup. Containers cannot remain outdoors past garbage day or will result in a violation per the association rules.

Monthly Village Service Bill

Monthly service assessments are mailed to units at the start of the month. If the bill is not paid by Day 21 of the bill mailed out, there is a 10% late fee applied to the account. Residents can pay monthly service dues in three ways:

Forms

The village has requested residents to fill out a “Village Services & Registration Form” available on their website. This form is required to notify the village:

• How billing is to be set up for your account
• Size of Recycling Container
• Size of Trash Container
• Vehicle Registration

Indicate to the Village of Glen Ellyn the size of cart you wish to receive. If you do not indicate a container size, you will be issued a 65 gallon container and will be charged for that size.

Vehicle Stickers

The deadline to display Village vehicle stickers is April 30. You are required to purchase and display a current Glen Ellyn vehicle sticker for all vehicles registered to a Glen Ellyn address. This includes leased vehicles, company cars, and vehicles kept outside of the Village. Residents can purchase their vehicle stickers three different ways:

To use this free service, available 24/7, visit the Village website. You must use the unique ID and license plate number for each vehicle on your pre-printed application to purchase your stickers online. You can make any changes needed to the information on the form when purchasing. However, any changes such as car to truck, truck to car, or resident to senior cannot be done online. Please visit the Civic Center, 535 Duane Street, to process those changes. Following the online completion, your vehicle stickers will be mailed promptly.

At the Civic Center
Residents also have the option to purchase their vehicle stickers in person at the Civic Center, 535 Duane Street. Stickers can be purchased during normal business hours, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.

Via Mail
Residents may also submit their application and payment via the mail. Upon receipt, your vehicle sticker(s) will be mailed promptly.

Apply sticker to the passenger side lower right hand corner of the windshield. Failure to do so may result in a fine if you are pulled over.

To keep all units looking visually consistent, the unit address above the garage and mailboxes will be modified by an association approved contractor. Repairs and repainting will also be contracted.
